- Respond to your rental inquiries and booking requests.
- Send you the newsletter you subscribed to.
- Follow up on consignment program inquiries.

3. Third-Party Service Providers
Under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, we are required to disclose the specific third parties with whom we share your data. Your information may be processed by the following services:
- Resend (resend.com) — Delivers emails from our contact form and newsletter. Receives your name and email address. Resend processes the email and does not store your data long-term.
- Vercel (vercel.com) — Hosts our website and provides anonymized, cookieless analytics (page views, referrers, device type). Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
- Microsoft Clarity (clarity.microsoft.com) — Provides heatmaps and anonymized session recordings to help us understand how visitors use our site. Clarity uses cookies and is only loaded if you accept cookies via our consent banner.
- Outdoorsy / Wheelbase (outdoorsy.com / wheelbasepro.com) — Powers the booking widget on our site. When you book a rental, Outdoorsy collects your information under their own privacy policy.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any party for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website uses the following cookies and tracking technologies:
- site-auth (cookie) — Used for preview access authentication. HTTP-only, expires after 7 days. Does not contain personal information.
- Vercel Analytics — Cookieless. Does not track individual users. Always active.
- Microsoft Clarity (cookies) — Session tracking for heatmaps and recordings. Only loaded if you click “Accept” on our cookie consent banner. You can decline and still use the full site.
- cookie-consent (localStorage) — Stores your cookie preference (“accepted” or “declined”). Stays in your browser until you clear site data.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Our site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of non-essential tracking.

- Contact form submissions: Delivered to our email inbox via Resend. We do not store form data on our servers.
- Newsletter emails: Retained in our Resend mailing list until you request removal.
- Authentication cookie: Automatically expires after 7 days.
- Analytics data: Vercel Analytics retains aggregated data for up to 12 months. Microsoft Clarity retains session data per their own retention policy.
