The World Percheron Congress Comes to St. Paul
The World Percheron Congress is the premier showcase of the Percheron draft horse, drawing exhibitors, breeders, and fans from across the United States and Canada for a week of hitch classes, cart driving, halter shows, and demonstrations. In 2026 it returns to St. Paul, Minnesota — marking the 40th anniversary of the first U.S.-based Congress, held right here in 1986.
Dates & Location
July 6–11, 2026 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, MN. From our pickup location in Shakopee, the fairgrounds are roughly a 35–40 minute drive northeast.
Why Rent a Camper for the Congress?
A full week of showing means a full week of lodging — and a camper rental is the comfortable, budget-friendly way to do it.
- Stay close to your horses — Set up a home base near the grounds instead of commuting from a far-off hotel each day.
- A full week without hotel prices — Six nights of comfort for a fraction of the nightly room rate.
- Your own kitchen and bed — Real meals, a real bed, air conditioning, and your own bathroom after long days at the barn.
- Room for the family or crew — Our bunkhouse trailers sleep up to 8, so the whole team can travel together.
Delivery & Setup Available
Don't want to tow? Camper Jim can deliver your trailer and set it up for you — leveled, hooked up, and ready to go when you arrive. Delivery and setup is available as an add-on at checkout, so you can focus on the show.
Book Early
The Congress brings a national crowd to the Twin Cities, and comfortable lodging near the fairgrounds goes quickly. Reserve your camper early to lock in your dates — and reach out if you'd like a recommendation on the closest campgrounds to the fairgrounds.
